Kids have a natural interest in money and business. In Whiz Biz Kids Camp we feed that curiosity by giving them hands-on experience creating their own Pop Up business. Through that experience, they learn how money works and how to use their money wisely.
In one week, kids (ages 8-16) work together as a team to bring a product to market – they experience first-hand the challenges and victories of managing money.
The experience of launching and running a business teaches kids:
Each day at Whiz Biz Kids is a unique experience. Campers fill different business roles each day such as CEO, CFO, Production Manager, and more. In order to allow campers to experience the full benefit of project-based learning, the Whiz Biz Kids team takes as much of a hands-off approach as possible.
We provide the environment for them to explore the process for themselves and to make their own mistakes. Through this method, they develop a deep understanding of the concepts they are exploring. Because it’s their business, their idea, their product, and their money, the kids have a strong sense of ownership from the very beginning.
Kids leave our program saying it was one of the best experiences that they've had and they return each year to learn more. This real life experience is the best way to have your kids be Wise with Money and Prepared for Life.
